If your wife, girlfriend, or kid is yapping at you to stop being such a beer-swilling homebody and actually do something with them this holiday season, tell them to go cannonball into a local swamp. And while they are doing that, go online and get tickets to THIS.

Last year, I went to the Lone Star Circus holiday show and was blown away. It was fantastic and beautiful. The performances were jaw-dropping. (Santa gave it four dismembered reindeer hooves up.) We’re very lucky to have the Lone Star Circus in town, so impress the wife and kids and start a new holiday tradition by making a night of it.
