I have officially become “SPORTS BLAZÉ”. I watched the Eagles demolish the Cowboys and really could have cared less. I’m usually hoopin and hollerin and getting mad and screaming and going crazy…but I really just didn’t care. I simply asked the question “You call that sports pain?”. If the Cowboys lose…or if the Cowboys win the Super Bowl…my thoughts? Yeah, whatever.
The Rangers lost a World Series. Gordon lost a site visitor. The Ticket lost a listener. Sprint lost a cellphone customer. And worst of all, I think I lost my keys.
Oddly enough, seeing this “what could have been” video somehow makes me feel a little better. I’m not exactly sure why that is. Maybe it is because I see that it wasn’t such an “epic” hit by Freese, but instead it is a ball that could have and should have been caught by Cruz, and thus it was more of a mistake being the reason we lost the WS.
Or maybe it is because I see this video and it makes it easy to fantasize that it is real and we got that last out and we are now WS champs. Anyway, thanks for posting it. As you can see, I’m still frustrated and stuck in “what should have been” in regards to the Cruz screw-up…
Gordon get of twitter and keep up this forkin site for your followers, im not forkin with nothin called a twit, get off your ass and make us happy half naked women is what we need.
I’m GLAD the Rangers lost. . .why? because I am sick and tired of hearing Rhyner put down the Cowboys, no matter what they do, there’s always a Cowboys put-down on the ticket. . . .and when it looked like the Rangers were actually going to get to the Series, and we heard nothing but Rhyner, and Corby gushing non-stop about the Rangers. . . it’s our year of destiny, blah blah blah. . . on and on and on ad infinitum. . . .
so, I finally decided. . . .yeah. . . I hope the Rangers LOSE just so I could hear those pip-squeak bastards get laid-low by THEIR favorite team! Also. . . every time I hear Rhyner and what’s his name call each other ‘shoopie’ it makes me cringe. Can those 2 be any gayer?
ummm….i appreciate the attempt at trying to make the wounded rangers’ nation laugh and try and feel somewhat better. for me, its still a little too soon to watch any variation of any part of that 6th game. the ending and the reality of it all remains painfully the same and in time i know i will be able to better appreciate and laugh with the humor attached to “what could have been”. as for now, i still find myself dealing with the “what is”.
Hi, I was listening to your program this morning about the Kennedy assassination and as an ex Marine who went through Bootcamp in 1967, your statement about the Marines qualifying with a rifle at 200 yards was not exactly correct. We actually qualified at 200 yards (offhand standing), 300 yards(kneeling and rapid fire), and 500 yards (prone position lying down). Every Marine does this with 3 medals, expert, sharpshooter, and basic rifleman. I had no experience with a high powered rifle and in 2 weeks nailing it at 500 yards…with a peep site. I still have my booklet saying the distance and category. I agree with you Oswald was the shooter. I have been to the window at the School Book Depository and the killing shot was maybe 250 feet with a scope and a steady resting place. The Marines are very good at teaching you to shoot.
To the first person who posts the lame/overdone comment “you just lost a listener”, I say this: You just lost me. As a listener.
we’re roasted, boom
Cruelest bit EVER.
So Wash needed to be wearing the home uni in order for Cruz to make that catch?
Your listener count just remained stable.
…for now.

Dunno if it’s my phong or not, but the Wash one looks super insane. Giggle.
These were created by Drew Sheppard, a talented poster on Lone Star Ball dot com. We talk Rangers, buddy!
