Other stations might have loyal listeners, but none are as steadfast as the Ticket’s army of P1s. The Ticket isn’t their favorite station; it is their only station. Why? Maybe because the shows—from The Musers in the morning until The Hardline in the afternoon—are nominally about sports, but they end up being about everything else. (Well, except during Norm Hitzges’ 10 am to noon timeslot. That’s only about sports, and don’t you damn call there again if you think otherwise.)
Despite being completely mismanaged by Tim Rogers, D Magazine gets it right this time- the P1′s are the best.

I guess they are still the best in DFW…but its not the best the Ticket’s been. Fat Cat mentality has taken over and it’s annoying as hell listening to Craig talk about his wife, George kissing Randy Rogers ass, Gordo ur cool, Norm has lost so much speed on his fastball it ain’t even funny, please just put bob and Dan, two of the most annoying white suburban dudes in white suburban history, out of their misery. Bob…couldn’t even listen to the Beatles for 30 years because Baptists thought John Lennon was the devil, now we have to hear his introduction into rock and guitar like we give a f-. And the guitar chord shout outs over songs. Thanks Bob, for being a complete f-in douche. Hardline, your cool. Just don’t take a holier than thou attitude with drugs, Cokey. Greggo couldnt handle them…ya’ll can, and I’m sure large amounts of drugs makes working with the rest of these douchetards tolerable. Dan, go to Thailand and gourge yourself with she-males until you Carridine yourself, we will all be thankful.
