Saw your comments on the Badu story … I must be older than most other commenters on this. Not even with a permit was this an “appropriate” project. She’s a talented artist – no doubt or argument there. But that spot in that Plaza is NO place for such behavior. This is not a “freedom of speech” issue. It is an issue of common sense, decency, and respect for our slain President. Yes, Dealey Plaza is used for other groups and activities. But Badu’s use of the “X” in the street to fall, herself shot in the head, is immature, irresponsible, and disrespectful to Dallas and the nation.

I know! I can’t believe all the errors I’ve seen today in articles I’ve read online by what should be well edited sources.
