Yeeesssss. So glad I made it out this year… even if I did have to peek around people who decided to stand up in the upper deck of the bleachers. From my perpective, I couldn’t see that Jah was wearing shorts/boots. Nor could I neither really hear about half of the vocals, so I didn’t hear when you said so. Also, when Norm completely blew Junior’s intro, I think the whole place could tell that that wasn’t the way it was supposed to go.
I’m kinda kicking myself that I decided to leave around 1pm on Saturday too. It sounds like I missed some good stuff, but those Placenta samples from TXL&C just zonked me. I thought it was better to duck out early and sleep it off, rather than nod off up against a random P1 and wake up with drool trickling down my chin, and my pants down around my ankles.
Good gawd, to think how many times we’ve all heard Junior bag on musicians, local musicians, music in general…that was really terrrrible. I am praying that his musical “critique card” has been confiscated.Just saying.
The on-air (and off-air) talent for Ticketstock was great, as usual! You guys are awesome! But I have to admit, the rest of Ticketstock was lame. I have been to every single one of them, and it seems like lately the content has been getting worse and more sparse every year.
I almost did with my camraphong but like I said, people being inhumanly tall in front of me, and a mix issue hampered things. There was a good 3R near me vidjaing everything though. Maybe it’ll turn up.
