The P1s have been attacked by those who hate our freedom

The story from WFAA.com

I have no comment at this time, but I wanted to thank the P1s for their messages of support and encouragement after this morning’s disturbing attack. I have included a few links about the story after the video.

I have received many emails about Jessica Simpson’s supposed weight gain. Let me go on the record. I like Jessica Simpson. My family has known hers since I was an toddler, so I say she still looks great to me. I think she is unfairly treated by most of America. Here are the controversial pics.

From Unclebarky.com-

WFAA8′s The Gordon Keith Show drew 39,858 viewers at 12:35 a.m. with its 100th and final episode. That was good enough to beat NBC’s competing Carson Daly late-nighter. Gordo also beat Daly in the key 18-to-49 demographic, where his show improved on its lead-in from the last 15 minutes of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live.

The Gordon Keith Show hastily reacts to Obama Administration

on_the_airOn the occasion of our second anniversary, and our 100th episode, we are going to take a looong vacation. The Emmy Award winning Gordon Keith Show will go on hiatus as we recharge, and possibly retool with more hot chicks and explosions. There has also been some talk of adding some small, adorable, adopted children (focus group driven). Our last show will be tonight at 12:35am right after Jimmy Kimmel. Rhett Miller performs. Will I die in the end? Will I get the girl? Stay tuned.

Bottom line is that these are tough economic times and we are losing our budget. I know that we are not everyone’s cup of tea, especially to those who participate in Nielsen surveys, but I am glad we did the show. We have won some awards and met some really neat people and had much fun. I changed the format of the show in October and really like the new direction.

What a great and wonderful opportunity Channel 8 gave me to get my feet wet in a new medium. I have nothing but happiness and gratefulness for my years with Channel 8. More importantly, I hope to continue my relationship with WFAA in new ways in the near future.

Don’t forget to tune in to the Ticket’s Superbowl coverage, all next week on 1310am, live from Tampa.

A huge thank you to all the listeners who came out to the House of Blues last night for our big 15th Anniversary party. It was one of the best events we have ever had in my opinion.

The listeners were so kind, and so nice, and said such meaningful things afterwards as we mingled and visited. It made me feel tremendously blessed to be a part of such a family.

Thanks, P1′s.

Important recall!!

2009 is a kangaroo

Tonight (Thurs) at 12:35am on the Gordon Keith TV show on Channel 8, I go gay for a day. Also I have an extremely uncomfortable interview with Sam Donaldson, and another one with actor Kevin James. Please watch, if you love yourself.

Programming Note

Tonight (Thursday) at 12:35am on Channel 8 immediately after Kimmel, we have a very tense Gordon Keith show featuring the Ticket’s own George Dunham. George almost makes me cry.

Don’t miss it.

Blogging obnoxiously from Iphone

The Musers are back at work.

I have been blown away with everything this iPhone can do. And I am just wading into the apps. Got any great apps suggestions? Post in the comments section.

2009

Happy New Year, everyone. I trust everyone has been enjoying Norm while we have been on vacation? I return to the Ticket on Monday with a grateful heart and nagging groin injury (she was a New Years Eve wildcat).

So how are the new diets and smoking cessations going? Failed? Bless you.

Hopefully this will be the year I finally get started on my life. So much to do.

Love,
Gordon

UPDATE: Recently I posted about streaming the Ticket on your Iphone with an app called Wunder Radio ($4.95 at app store). I have found a free app called FStream (giggle) that will also work. In fact, I just set it up on my brand spanking new bottom-of-the-line iPhone and it works. You can also pause the radio station and record it in the program as well. Make sure you enter the correct streaming URL, because The Ticket just changed this about a week ago. Here it is-

http://player.cumulusstreaming.com/stations/KTCK-AM/PubPoint.asx

Detailed instructions: On your iphone, download fstream from the app store, open fstream, click favorites, click edit, click add new webradio, enter this url http://player.cumulusstreaming.com/stations/KTCK-AM/PubPoint.asx, click save, click done
